Here’s a few photos from tonight of the AWE Studios and camera/photography mini-‘museum’ in the studio, also.
A lot of camera history here, the majority being film cameras from several Pentax K1000’s, a dual lens 3D camera (for film!), ubiquitous Box Brownie and a host of other cameras. I also have on display some of the cameras of my own camera progression, from my 2nd digital point and shoot (the Canon) to my first dSLR the Sony a-mount a200, with plenty of a-mount lenses – including the latest addition to the collection – a Minolta 70-210 f/4 lens. Commonly known as a “beercan” lens, this lens is almost as old as I am and is a beautiful lens to use.
Not shown is my daily shooter the fantastic Sony a77ii.
I’m really happy to have a permanent studio setup, fully setup with studio flashes, space for a makeup artist to work, several light modifier choices, a bar and bar fridge, (water and soft drink only sorry!) and of course a big sound system!
